Ephesians 5:1-2
We are a love-challenged people. Do we truly live a life filled with love for others? Or, do we press through this storm of relationships focusing only on our need? Sadly, too many people are focused on their needs, their wants, their dreams and ambitions. After all, that's the American way! The pursuit of happiness. As I see it, the pursuit of happiness will take you farther than you will ever want to go because it's focused on self. It will never be enough. Rather, loving others, serving others, giving yousellf for others, is a cause that Jesus smiles upon. Why? Because we are to love our neighbors as ourself.

More News: The Season of Peace Devotional is now being published. If all goes well, we should be able to start selling the book in April. The self-published book is being printed by Morris Publishing.
If you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord', and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the Scripture says, Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame. For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile-the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.'
Romans 10:9-13
What an awesome promise from God! It is with your heart that you believe and are justified. And, it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. Did you catch all that?
Heart. Believe. Justified.
Mouth. Confess. Saved.
Notice what it didn't say. It didn't say, "It is by your actions that you are made right with God and redeemed." No. It is by faith. It is with your heart, not your hands. Are you justified? Are you saved?
